CBT therapist ADHD support for executive functioning, emotional regulation, planning, routines and self-criticism.
Referrals for professionals
I welcome appropriate professional enquiries from GPs, psychiatrists, ADHD clinics, addiction services, therapists and other healthcare professionals seeking online ADHD therapy UK for adults with ADHD, suspected ADHD, addiction or overlapping compulsive behaviour patterns.
Who I work with
I work with adults where ADHD traits, addictive behaviours, emotional dysregulation, shame or impulsive coping patterns are part of the clinical picture.
CBT therapist ADHD support for executive functioning, emotional regulation, planning, routines and self-criticism.
Ethical support for adults exploring ADHD traits while recognising that therapy is not a formal diagnostic assessment.
Support for relapse prevention, urges, shame cycles, substance use and aftercare following detox or residential rehabilitation.
ADHD addiction specialist support where drinking is linked with racing thoughts, anxiety, sleep, shame or emotional overwhelm.
CBT support for gambling, risk-taking, reward-seeking, impulsivity and financial or relational consequences.
Support for compulsive spending, cannabis use, avoidance, doom-scrolling and other dopamine-seeking coping patterns.
Support for overwhelm, shame spirals, rejection sensitivity, anger, shutdown and impulsive reactions.
Formulation-led work when ADHD, addiction, anxiety, low mood, burnout or relationship patterns are hard to separate.

Referral process
Professionals can use the contact page to outline the referral context, presenting difficulties, risk considerations and whether the client has consented to the enquiry.
The first stage is a clinical assessment to understand current difficulties, goals, suitability for CBT and whether additional or alternative support may be needed.
Where appropriate, and only with explicit client consent, I can liaise with referrers or other professionals involved in care.
Client confidentiality is central. Information is shared only where consent has been given, or where there are safeguarding or legal duties to act.
Suitable referrals
Adults whose relapse prevention plans need to account for impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, boredom, shame or reward-seeking.
